Step inside this beautiful Shingle-style church, built in the 1890s by the Swampscott Universalist congregation on what was once the 130-acre estate of Enoch Reddington Mudge. The property was later subdivided by the Swampscott Land Trust, following a landscape design by the Olmsted firm. Since 1982, the church has been home to the Swampscott Church of Spiritualism.
During your visit, you'll have the opportunity to admire the church’s original architectural and decorative features, including its stained-glass windows, historic pews, and pipe organ.
The event is open to all and is free of charge.
